Want to receive text messages from HCPSS?
Parents who were opted in for text messages last year are opted in for this year.  Many new HCPSS parents already got an opt-in message from “Howard County Public Schools alerts”.  Parents who are new to HCPSS, or who changed their mobile phone number in HCPSS Connect, and would like to opt-in for text messages this year must text “Y" to the number 67587 from the mobile phone number on file in HCPSS Connect.  If a parent is unsure whether or not they have already opted in, they can text the letter “Y” to 67587 from the mobile phone number on file in HCPSS Connect. They can opt-in multiple times without any side effects on their account.
