Registration/Cancellation
Since the November 10th registration deadline has passed, students who wish to register for an AP Exam must contact Mr. King (jared_king@hcpss.org) directly. Students who have not already joined the AP Classroom portal must enter the Join Code (provided by teacher) before Mr. King can register them for the exam.
Late registrations will be accepted until March 11th, 2024. An additional $40.00 fee will be applied to the original $98.00 cost.
Students who wish to cancel their exam registration must contact Mr. King by March 11th, 2024. College Board has a $40.00 cancellation fee, so only a partial refund can be issued.
Payment
After registering for the exam, an invoice will be generated and sent to the parent/guardian’s email address that is listed in Synergy. The invoice will come from do-not-reply@myschoolbucks.com. Payment can be made online (with a small handling fee), or a check made out to “Atholton High School” can be delivered to Mr. King in his office (F190). Cash is an acceptable form of payment as well. The standard exam fee is $98.00, but there is an additional $40.00 late fee now that the registration deadline has passed.
Need-based Fee Waiver
If you meet the requirements for a need-based fee waiver (see requirements here), please inform Mr. King.
